Adaptability of hydraulic fracturing packers and optimization of their sealing performance for three common clastic rock reservoirs based on finite element analysis

In this paper, the adaptability characteristics of packer to three types common clastic rock reservoirs (mudstone, shale, sandstone) are analyzed systematically. Moreover, identification and structural design in hydraulic fracturing systematically conducted based on finite element calculation. Finally, nonlinear mathematical models packing safety factor pressure under conditions casing, mudstone, shale sandstone obtained. The results show that maximum stress rubber cylinder formation is lower than compression set strength cylinder, indicating will not cause damage. At same time, by analyzing materials constitutive packers, structure a new anti-shoulder protrusion device were redesigned.
